– pre- and post-sales engineering
– Provide support for customers around the world including hospitals, schools, prisons, public transportation, retail
– Prepare technical sales support materials
– Develop system design recommendations and RFPs and RFIs
– Coordinate on-site proof of concept and trial installations
– Present training seminars on-site and through webinars
Requirements
– Ability to travel up to 25-50% nationally
– Solid technical writing skills especially white paper, manuals, and instructions
– Design documentation skills of schematics, flow charts, topologies, and metrics
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or equivalent experience
– 2+ years of experience as a pre-sales or technical solution sales working in networking, integration, and/or 4+ years’ experience in video surveillance systems, security cameras and IP based video surveillance technology, both software and hardware.
– Proficiency and experience using diagraming tools such as Visio or CAD
– Experience with IP Video and Video Management Systems Installation and/or configurations with video analytic solutions
– Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, VPN’s, Cybersecurity, etc.)
